Chapter 15
Evolution of Your Progress
Well! Today we're going to discuss your 15th tip! I'm very happy that you made it this far!
I think this is the perfect occasion to talk to you about the progress you can expect in terms of training. And how much time it takes to achieve noticeable changes!
Losing weight can be done really quickly, but results and visible physical changes regarding working out require patience... Many people unfortunately quit too soon before results become noticeable.
After your very first 1-3 months you will notice small changes for the first time. But that's when your adventure truly begins!
The execution of your exercises during training is a learning experience and the first weeks or months your progress will be much more about learning the exercises.
If you train consistently for a year, you will see changes. And feel them! And when you have reached this point, there is a high probability that you have got a taste for it and will stick to working out.
In your 2nd year you should not expect quite as much training progress and muscle growth as in the first year. Your training will still reward you with continuous improvement as long as you train with enough intensity.
In the 3rd year you will gradually notice that the progress is getting slower. But if you have trained hard for three years, you'll already have an impressive physique that you can be very proud of!
In the following years your progress will become slower and slower. This is because with each year of training, the progress you can expect to make with optimal training is roughly cut in half.
If this wasn't the case, and your muscles kept growing and growing, after a few years of training everyone would look like Treeceps!
One thing is for sure: If you keep at it, you are destined to see success. If you give up, I guarantee you won't. I am excited about your progress in the coming time!
