Chapter 14
7 Minute Workouts
Greetings! Maybe you've already heard of so-called 7 minute workouts. Or, more generally, of circuit training, where you do exercises for a certain time with a very short break directly following each other.
It is said that only 7 minutes of such a highly intensive workout per day is enough to build muscle and get stronger. And indeed, those workouts can burn a lot of calories in a short time and improve your endurance!
Today I would like to explain to you why, despite this, Treeceps is not based on circuit training or 7 minutes workouts. And why the training method of Treeceps will get you to your goal much faster when it comes to building muscle.
To build muscle, you have to get stronger over time. This means using more weight or achieving more repetitions with equally good execution.
The more focused you are on this goal, the better your progress will be measurable. This way you can be sure that you are on the right path to your dream body.
To build muscle effectively, there is no way around getting stronger. More importantly, there is no way around building muscle when you get stronger!
If, for example, after a year of consistent training you can do 15 push-ups instead of 5, or you can do your biceps curls with 30 kg instead of 15 kg, your physique will improve immensely!
Your progress in circuit training, on the other hand, is mainly related to improving your endurance. Wanting to achieve more repetitions in a fixed time span can also tempt you to just do exercises with worse form.
Since the best way to achieve an aesthetic body is to have well developed muscles with low body fat, we focus on increasing your calorie consumption by ramping up your activity during everyday life.
This way your recovery is not compromised and you can build muscle as effectively as possible with your strength training. This combination ensures that you get into the best shape of your life!
