Chapter 49
Warm-up: More Strength Through Preparation
Hello! Today I’ll show you why a good warm-up can boost your strength right away – and how to do it simply.
A warm-up raises body temperature, activates your nervous system, and improves mobility in exactly the angles you’ll use.
Step 1: General activation. 3–5 minutes of light movement is enough to raise your pulse and temperature a bit.
Step 2: Mobilize joints. 2–3 targeted mobility drills for the upcoming movements, without tiring yourself out.
Step 3: Specific warm-up sets. Increase the weight in 3–5 small steps while sharpening your technique.
A good warm-up improves mind-muscle connection, makes you more stable, and reduces injury risk.
With a little routine, your warm-up only takes a few minutes and feels like hitting a start button.
Summary: Preparation is free strength. A short, smart warm-up boosts your performance right away.
Make it a habit and enjoy stronger first sets.
