Chapter 47
Nutrition & the Role of Protein
Hello! Today we’ll talk about nutrition – specifically: protein and why it’s so important for your progress.
Protein gives your muscles the building blocks they need. Without enough of it, your body can’t turn training into muscle growth as effectively.
A practical guideline for active people is usually between 1.6 and 2.2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per day.
Spread protein throughout the day. 3–5 servings of 20–40 grams each help keep protein synthesis active.
Good sources are: low-fat quark, skyr, eggs, fish, lean meat, legumes, tofu, and quality protein powders.
Carbs and fats matter too, but protein is the foundation if you want your training to pay off.
After training, a protein-rich meal is especially helpful. It supports recovery and helps build muscle.
You don’t have to eat perfectly. Consistency beats perfection. If the basics are right, progress follows.
Treeceps measures performance and fatigue. Good nutrition helps turn that work into real progress.
Drink enough and go for simple, filling meals. The easier to implement, the more likely you’ll stick with it.
Summary: Protein is your training partner on the plate. Enough makes you strong, resilient, and able to recover.
If you cover the basics, you’ll feel how training and nutrition push each other.
