Chapter 48
No Progress Without Energy
Hey! Today it’s about why you’ll stall quickly without enough energy – even with a good plan.
Energy means: enough calories for training, daily life, and recovery. Too little energy slows performance and muscle growth.
If you eat below your needs for too long, strength, sleep quality, and training motivation drop – plateaus get more likely.
For muscle gain, a slight calorie surplus helps. For fat loss, a moderate deficit – but not so big that performance drops.
Carbs fuel tough sets. Eat them around training so you can finish reps strong.
Healthy fats support hormones and satiety. Spread them through the day, but don’t overdo it right before training.
If sessions always feel hard, check: enough sleep, enough calories, enough carbs? Often that’s the reason.
Watch your nutrition especially during deload weeks. That way you come back recovered and strong.
Summary: Progress needs energy. Feed your training – then your training feeds your progress.
With enough fuel, you’ll notice the weights feel lighter again.
