Chapter 38
Complexity is the Enemy of Execution
Hello! Today’s key reminder, for both training and productivity: complexity is the enemy of execution.
The more complicated a system is, the less likely it gets done. That’s true for training, nutrition, and daily life alike.
If you try to do everything perfectly – perfect nutrition, perfect training plan, perfect routines – the mental hurdle gets huge.
The result? Most people never start, or stop quickly.
Success doesn’t come from complexity, but from things simple enough to do every day.
That’s why good training plans are clear, simple, and repeatable. Few exercises, clear volume, clear progression – that’s the key.
Treeceps follows this principle: You get a doable plan that progresses sensibly and isn’t unnecessarily complicated.
If you have a system that’s easy to follow, you’ll stick with it long-term – and that’s what really matters.
Reduce decisions: fixed training days, clear exercises, a target rep range. Less thinking, more doing.
The same goes for daily life: the simpler you make healthy routines, the more reliably they become part of your life.
Once you get going, progress comes – not through perfection, but through consistency.
Summary: Keep it simple. If your system is easy to follow, you’ll be unstoppable.
